Just Curious August 26, 2010

Posted by nrhatch in Happiness, Humor, People.

I visited avatarist.com yesterday and found this delightful avatar of Winnie-The-Pooh.

Being a fan of all things Milne, I wanted to weave a post around it.

Here it is:

Have you ever met someone who is their own worst enemy?

Someone who seems to go out of their way to be negative and nasty for no reason at all?

I have.

And I am always tempted to ask:

Just curious . . . do you find it hard to be so thoroughly disagreeable, or does it come naturally?

Doesn’t this require a picture of Eeyore? I suppose that he isn’t thoroughly disagreeable, though. Perhaps an image of Yosemite Sam facing off Pooh Bear.

I’ll check to see if I have a suitable avatar for Mr/Ms Nasty Negativity. : )

How’s that?

I’ve met seriously mean nasty people. It honestly makes me wonder how some people get their kicks.

Like the woman who put the cat in the bin, and left it to languish for 14 hours, saying “It’s just a cat.”

I definitely have met people who seem to be happiest when they are bursting balloons held by others.

Miserable wretches.

I’m no longer willing to let them burst my balloons! ; )

sorry i was born this way 🙂 i am grumpy a lot but i have met some seriously mean and really grumpy people who just seem to be that way all the time or if they don’t get things their way. i’m only that way half the time.

We forgive you! : )

Actually, I haven’t noticed any nastiness yet. You seem quite tame.
