Be happy while you’re living, for you’re a long time dead. ~ Scottish Proverb
One thing that gets in the way of our happiness . . . worry.
If your brain is constantly churning with worry, give yourself a much needed break:
Challenge your mind to solve a puzzle that actually has a solution!
In FUN with WORDS, I tossed out a few doublet challenges for you from the Guinness Book of Words. If you haven’t tried one yet, there’s still time.
Here’s a solution to #8: from LIVE to DEAD:
LIVE ~ LINE ~ LINT ~ LENT ~ LEND ~ LEAD ~ DEAD
Did you have this solution?
A shorter one?

More challenging transformations on the way!
Thanks, I spent the day on a massive spring clean spree … feels great and I am not even halfway done 🙂
Yay! Seems funny to be having a spring cleaning during our summer’s end ~ just shows how ego-centric I am. : )
Cleaning (dusting and vaccuuming) doesn’t energize me, but organizing, purging, clearing clutter, etc. = a huge mental energy boost for me.
I love moving from disarray, chaos, and confusion to calm serenity in drawers, closets, cupboard, etc.
Glad you made some great progress.
How I relish those feelings, too… Even if it were the only thing we have control over in our lives, it’s a great place to start 😀
Yes. That’s it in a nutshell . . . we realize that we do have some control over our lives. : )
