Life is filled with every day miracles.

How else could we transform a few simple ingredients (water, FLOUR, yeast, salt, and sugar) into a tantalizing loaf of BREAD in just a few hours of time?

Mix, knead, rise, punch down, rise, bake -> BLISS!

Need something to do while the bread rises and bakes?  Try a word game.

In FUN with WORDS, I tossed out a few doublet challenges from the Guinness Book of Words.

Here’s a solution to #2:  from FLOUR to BREAD:

FLOUR ~ FLOOR ~ FLOOD ~ BLOOD ~ BROAD ~  ~ BREAD

Did you have this solution?

A different one?

A shorter one?

Please share your solution below.

More everyday miracles on the way!

RICH Man -> POOR Man is now all dressed up with no place to go!

Uncertainty

In uncertainty, lies all possibility. ~ Ancient Wisdom

Get comfortable not knowing.

When nothing is certain, all things are possible.

Revel in uncertainty.

Peace is not needing to know what will happen next. ~ Hilary Smith

Each day’s dawn offers infinite possibilities.

If we limit our choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, we disconnect ourselves from what we truly want; all that’s left is compromise. ~ Robert Fritz

Understanding

Understanding requires that we stop judging ourselves and others . . . and begin to accept life as it is.

When we understand who we really are, we free ourselves from the illusions that hold us back.

Seek first to understand, and then to be understood. ~ Stephen R. Covey

Most people are doing the best they can, given the experiences they’ve had.

Smile at strangers, see the innocence in others, and let others be right (most of the time).

We don’t need anyone else’s approval, permission, blessing, or understanding, to accept ourselves as we are in this moment.

Using Spirit as an internal reference point, we begin to see things as they are.

Awaken to Spirit and then you will know.

Unity

Unity and love are the heart of creation.

The first duty of love is to listen.

What if seekers need only ask:  How well do I love?

People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges. ~ Joseph F. Newton

Chase away idle thoughts, and see the world as it is.

Meditate on the still, silent spaces in your mind.

When the world recedes, we hold infinity in our grasp.

God is the breath inside the breath.  ~ Kabir
