Playing With My Palette July 21, 2010

Today, I shall pull out my paints and play with my palette

Creating the world anew

Pink palms, tasseled with yellow fronds

Green skies, punctuated with purple clouds

Blue grass underfoot, and falling leaves filling the air

After all, words only take one so far

But dreams, dreams . . . hold the promise of infinity

Be An Artist (or a Cat) . . . Live By Your Own Rules

Inspiration for this post:  BLUEPRINT (The Only Cin)

Artwork by Barbara Hines, whose whimsical paintings  reflect  her sense of humor, love of nature, and respect for creatures, great and small.

So, in other words, you are going back to “realism!”

Exactly!

Run around and take a peak at Cindy’s post. What a wonderful launching pad!

I love this 🙂
Thanks for the punt.

Nothing like a bit of The Only Cin in the morning to get my inspiration flowing.

THANKS!

My paints are still sitting quietly in the cupboard, but colors are swirling through my mind.

Think I’ll choose to be a cat 🙂
