* Greed to Green
* Profit to Principle
* Hate and Fear to Love and Hope

“When the moon is in the 7th house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then Peace will guide the Planets and Love will steer the Stars . . .”…

Interesting irony… not that this is relevant here, but about a month before I had my personal “Great Awakening” paradigm shift in 1995, I was in my kitchen packing five lunches for 4 kids and a husband, when I suddenly had a flash of recall and I remembered every word of this song — not having hear or sung it in years…

Later, when sharing with a close friend and spiritual mentor about my paradigm shift, he took it upon himself to have my birthchart done… He said that mine very rare and had the exact planetary alignment mentioned in the “Aquarius” lyrics… it blew my mind and still does…

I love your stories!

And I’ve always adored The Age of Aquarius . . . from the first time I heard it, it resonated with my spirit!

Harmony and Understanding
Sympathy and Trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derision
Golden living dreams of vision
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind’s true liberation

Harmony and understanding . . .

We define words differently. That creates the possibility of misunderstanding. Rather than harboring secret resentment, we can let others know how we are feeling.

To me that’s the best way to reach harmony.

You speak. I listen. I ask for clarification or share something further with you. And the beat goes on . . . the flow of life continues.

Miscommunication? With the written word?? Oh Nancy, how you do go on!!! When really communicating with someone, I so much prefer the face-to-face sort, even more so than by phone (which has its pluses and minuses). As much as I love reading and writing, you wouldn’t think so, but you are right in that ones eyes and facial expressions can convey so much that the written word cannot, but that brings with it a problem for those who rely on the written word, for a multitude of reasons (diferent language, blindness, or some sort of isolation) and cannot communicate in other ways. There will always be, however, as I have said over and over, the hermeneutic perspective, which we will never be able to avoid or overcome, but which in the end can be a good thing, because it makes us unique!

I find that fiction and even most non-fiction is not nearly as problematic as discussing life philosophies in “print” rather than face to face. There are so many nuances and shades of gray that people can easily take offense when no offense was intended.

I am interested in spirit, and unity, and happiness, and all that jazz as well ~ but I tend to view them as part and parcel of a Greener, more Peaceful World.

In Spirit we find Peace and Love for all Creatures (not just for Man and his EGO). That causes us to be more Green than those who look at life solely through the lens of EGO.

Viva la uniqueness!

Enjoy the show. Light a ‘cracker’ for me. After all, spirit lights the way!
And Happy Independence Day!

nrhatch - July 4, 2010

The fireworks were SPECTACULAR!

All up and down the beach, for over an hour, we enjoyed the rockets red glare, and the bombs bursting in air.

Awesome end to a very Happy Independence Day!

Thanks, Loreen.
