loveWhen we re-cognize our UNITY, we will create the paradigm shift that is needed to move us from:

* Greed to Green
* Profit to Principle
* Hate and Fear to Love and Hope

When the moon is in the 7th house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then Peace will guide the Planets and Love will steer the Stars . . .

Freedom ~ Sacred Honor (T4D) July 4, 2010

Most days, I enjoy my subscription to Thought for the Day, by Kirk Weisler.

Today’s post speaks volumes!

Freedom ~ Sacred Honor describes the sacrifices made by our Founding Fathers, the signers of The Declaration of Independence, who committed treason by putting their signatures to the powerful words drafted by Thomas Jefferson:

John Hancock, one of the richest men in America, already had a price of 500 pounds on his head.

He signed in enormous letters, saying, “His Majesty can now read my name without glasses and can now double the reward.”

Ben Franklin wryly noted:  “Indeed we must all hang together, otherwise we shall most assuredly hang separately.”

Stephan Hopkins from Rhode Island, was a man past 60.   As he signed with a shaking pen, he declared:  “My hand trembles, but my heart does not.”

The courage, bravery, and commitment to the cause of Freedom by these wise men, partnered with the support and sacrifices of their families, set us on our present course.  Their signatures changed the course of human events by creating the united States of America.

All of them put the good of the country ahead of their own interests in Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

Let’s make them proud ~ by putting PLANET before PROFIT and GREEN before GREED.

Let Freedom Ring!

A telling look at how Fox News “creates” the news it airs . . .

And how corporations (such as Monsanto) are poisoning our food supply with impunity . . .

It’s time for a change, a paradigm shift, from GREED to GREEN!

Blogging is my therapy. This is a place I can say whatever the heck I want to say and if someone doesn’t like it too freekin’ bad. There’s is nothing like starting the day on the 4th of July with a letter from the President of the United States waiting in your In-Box:

Dear Friend:

Thank you for writing to me about the BP oil spill. I will stand with the people of the Gulf Coast until they are made whole, and I appreciate your perspective as we continue to do everything we can to address this crisis.

The Gulf is one of the richest and most beautiful ecosystems on the planet. For centuries, its residents have enjoyed and made a living off the fish that swim in its waters and the wildlife that inhabit its shores. The Gulf is also the heartbeat of the region’s economic life, and this oil spill has upended whole communities.

My Administration will continue to leverage every resource at our disposal to protect coastlines, to clean up the oil, to hold BP and other companies accountable for damages, to begin to restore the bounty and beauty of this region, and to aid the hardworking people of the Gulf as they rebuild their businesses and communities.

For information about response efforts, available assistance, or how to help, please visit: www.WhiteHouse.gov/deepwater-bp-oil-spill.

Individuals affected by the BP oil spill can also find resources by calling the United States Coast Guard at 1-800-280-7118, and small businesses can find support by calling 1-800-659-2955.

Thank you again for contacting me. I encourage you to visit WhiteHouse.gov to learn more about my Administration or to contact me in the future.

BP: The Tyranny of British Rule Continues July 4, 2010

In 1776, the 13 united States of America declared their independence from the tyranny of the British Throne.

Included in The Declaration of Independence drafted by Thomas Jefferson is the following language:

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

Hmm . . . He Who???

Sounds a lot like BP to me!

Our Founding Fathers stood up to the British Throne . . .

Why can’t our current representatives in Washington stand up to British Petroleum???

It’s time for We The People to take a stand!

But, first, let’s ask ourselves . . . what does BP Stand For?

British Petroleum -> Bloated Profits -> Blatant Propaganda -> Broken Promises -> Blackened Pelicans -> Bribing Politicians

Now, what do We The People want BP to stand for?

How about . . . Boycott Petroleum?  Or Beyond Petroleum?

We The People overthrew British Reign and Rule once before . . . it’s time to do it again.  Let’s declare our independence from drilling and spilling.

Let’s create an Oil Free Zone off our coasts.  No more drilling.  No more spilling.  No more dead and dying pelicans.

It’s time for a change, a paradigm shift in our values . . . from Greed to Green.

Let’s tell BP to Clean Up Its Act!

And while we’re at it . . . let’s clean up our own!  Check out AgriGirl’s Blog, Dear America, for some ideas.
