I used to belong to several of these over the years when I had some money. I like the Green America Newsletter. I still have my old Backyard Wildlife plaque from my years in Houston.

Even if you don’t have money to donate, you can still donate time for area projects. Communities working together to help cleanup themselves is a good place to start.

Right now, money is tight for us.

So, instead of donating money, I’m donating time ~ signing letters drafted to our representatives, sharing Senate votes, reposting updates on FB, writing articles here.

I feel that by spreading the word I’m making the world a better place even if I don’t have coins to throw in the fountain just now.

Thanks!

I need to head round and see what a repost looks like. : )
