One Mind, One Muse June 10, 2010

This morning, as I poured my coffee, I contemplated its companionable silence ~  perfect for early morning hours:

* No questions
* No demands
* No diatribe
* No sass
* No judgment
* No comment

Just pure energizing aroma and warmth circulating through my cloudy brain.

Coffee in hand, I wandered back to my office and saw an e-mail announcing one of Cindy’s latest posts . . .

MORNING COFFEE

Aah, the universal internet, such a strange brew.

One Mind, One Muse.

It is amazing, isn’t it?

nrhatch - June 10, 2010

It is.

Wait.
What?
Which?
Coffee or the shared muse? : )

The universal internet is amazing.

For example, I planned to write a post about Mark Twain’s 100 year old autobiography this week. You beat me to it.

I planned to write a piece about coffee this morning. Cindy beat me to it. (But I wrote a different piece instead.)

Synchronicity ~ turning our heads in the necessary direction at just the right time.

Aah, the mysteries of the universe . . .

The universe works its magic . . . without the aid of caffeine!

Really enjoyed your post. Thanks for stopping by.

A much better start to the day than mine!!!

nrhatch - June 10, 2010

Uh-oh . . . how do you start your day? : )

It’s better for all of mankind (and womankind) if nobody talks to me or even looks at me before I have my first cuppatheday.

Thanks for commenting on my blog and adding me to your blogroll. What a lovely compliment!

The worst ~ when early risers (who spent an hour waking up and finding their own smiles) greet you with:

GOOD MORNING! ISN’T IT A LOVELY DAY?

Idon’tknow~it’stoosoontotell~where’sthecoffee

IT’S RIGHT THERE. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE WITH IT? JUICE? BACON? THE WHOLE HOG?

I’dlikeyoutotoneitdownafewnotches . . .

OH, LOOK WHO WOKE UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE BED!

{fade to black . . . coffee}

And, you’re welcome. Cindy pointed me in your direction and I liked your last few posts. We all need to surrender the things of youth if we want to enjoy aging gracefully.

Coffee is my friend and muse. When nothing else works, I can guarantee coffee to fire up my brain in the morning. Heaven in a cup.

nrhatch - June 11, 2010

I’m not an all day coffee drinker . . . but one or two steaming cups in the morning really gets my juices flowing.

Thanks for stopping by.
