3.  Gorgeous Beaches with white sand, swaying palms,  and turquoise water perfect for . . . A Walk in the Waves or being Bag Ladies on the Beach.

4.  Sea Turtles, Dolphins, and Manatees ~ gentle giants

5. The Summer Finding revealed itself in the dead of Winter

6.   State Parks abound . . . Explore the Great Outdoors

7.  Brave New Adventures ~ like kayaking!

8.  Royal Palms, Coconut Palms, Pineapple Palms, Gumbo Limbos, Banyan Trees, Citrus Groves, and . . . Lemon Trees

9.  Flying Fish and Leaping Lizards plus Amusing Otter Antics

10.  Biking ~ Pedal Power and Let’s Go Fly . . . A Bike!

Florida . . . what’s not to love?   

Well, I can think of two things off the top of my head:

* S-N-A-K-E-S . . . which give me The Heebie Jeebies

* And non-native, invasive snakes which make me mad ~ Big Oil, Big Lies:  Thanks, BP!

Yes.

Miami, Ft. Myers, Clearwater Beach, and other places I’ve not yet discovered have some awesome Art Deco hotels and buildings that have been preserved by the salt air. ; )
