Scottish in my blood, so free caught my attention, plus curiosity killed the cat. Done did it.
Excellent! Sounds like quite a roster of creative talents.
Not that matters, but I’ve opted out this.
To be honest, so have I. The weather is so glorious that I’d rather be outside reading a book than inside attending a virtual conference.
If It was 20-30 degrees cooler, I’d come in and tune in.
I’m going to work on getting an entry in — if I can find my writing desk, that is!
Excellent! Happy Hunting.
All kinds of contests and conferences to feed the creatives of 2013! Thank you for your part in all this!
Maybe CREATIVITY topped the list of New Year’s Resolutions.
I hope your computer is all better now, Nancy, since you’re back to posting again.
It is STELLAR . . . I didn’t realize how much wrestling I’d been doing until all the kinks were ironed out. So much better.
What a wonderful idea, Nancy. I may just tune in! (is that what you do with a virtual conference?)
Writer’s desk entry in hand
Yay! Kate’s gonna play.
And, yes, you tune in:
Even if you think you’ll be busy, go ahead and register, because all interviews will be available to listen to for at least 24 hours after they air live and recordings will be available, but you’ll miss out if you don’t sign up to receive the details.
Ok (said in the voice of Eeyore) if you think it will really help.
Thanks so much for sharing.
You’re welcome, Linda. Sounds like a conference that might be right up your cyber alley.
You have a creative impulse and find the most creative sites, too! What a positive indication of things to come in this new year, Nancy.
Thanks, Debra. Great way to give our creativity a BOOST.
Thanks Nancy!
and Yep, Kate ~ call in live (probably long distance, or maybe you have Skype, or some such?) or tune in on your computer. There’s usually an email when the recording is available, and you can click in, then. Enjoy! It sounds inspiring, and fun!
Thanks, Karen. That’s helpful info re “attending a virtual conference.”
What a cool concept! I don’t know if I’m professional… or even that creative. Can mildly artsy fartsy people join the party?
The more the merrier!
Very interesting!
I’m not sure that I’ll be able to tune in for most of the conference . . . but I definitely wanted to share the link. Here’s to thinking outside the box and coloring outside the lines.
It sounds interesting, and I’ll probably check it out; but I also have to be realistic about the whole thing. I have two published books, which makes them two among millions, and only one copy has been purchased. This has confirmed a conclusion I arrived at several years ago. No matter how good your writing is, don’t quit your day job.
Sounds like you need to take a course in marketing.
Will anyone conducting any part of this conference, have anything to say about marketing?
Given the wording of the blurb, I expect they will discuss marketing:
Successful creatives who have been where you are share their struggles, tips, tricks and strategies for taking your talent to the bank and going from starving artist to creative rock star!
Sounds like it’s worth a look.
It sounds like an interesting conference…too bad it wasn’t last week when the kids didn’t have school
I’m still trying to get my brain to come up with an essay for your contest. So far, I got nothin’. Is procrastination a process?
It sounds like a great idea for people who can carve out the necessary time to listen. I always feel a bit “captive” when listening to virtual conferences . . . I prefer books that allow me to flip past the “boring bits.”
