Tomorrow, we have a blog meet-up planned with one of the two intrepid co-captains of Team Oyeniyi.
Robyn has traveled halfway around the world from Australia to Florida. We need travel only halfway across the state to complete the meet.
Robyn’s here for a business conference . . . although, from the sound of her latest post, it seems more like a drinking convention.
Lunch is planned at Season’s 52.

Hmm . . . I wonder if Robyn will drink us under the table?
Maybe that’s how they do it down under . . . right after tossing another shrimp (or scallop) on the barbee.
Aah . . . that’s better.

Enjoy!
Thanks, BB! Isn’t this blogging business great FUN . . . you never know who you’re going to bump into OR when.
Looking forward very much to meeting a fellow-blogger! Quite a co-incidence that Nancy lives close enough to where we are staying to make it possible!
This is going to be such a treat! Assuming you don’t fall asleep on your feet from the jet lag.
If you do . . . I will NOT take it personally.
I’ll be fine. I woke about eery hour during the night last night, as did one of my colleagues. The other colleague flew ove a week earlier to visit relatives, so he has now joined us but of course is well over the jet lag!
Trying to make sure you get over it before the work/learning begins is the hard part. I think the jet lag is worse when I come this far across too – wasn’t so bad in Cali, but again, I arrived before the Monday to give time to adjust. Otherwise the brain just doesn’t absorb anything!
The farthest I’ve flown is Paris . . . but I was a teenager and bounced into the new time zone with ease. Flying to and from California (on the red eye) is always a challenge.
Wow – how exciting to meet another fellow blogger. I’m sure you and Robyn will have a blast; I feel quite envious!
I still hope to meet you at the Dunedin Pub if you ever come this way, Barb.
Have a good time, Nancy! Maybe we will get to read a post of your day.
That’s a distinct possibility, Marie! Thanks.
Have a great time!
Thanks, aawwa. I’ve met blogging buddies from Minnesota and Missouri and Maryland . . . but no one from halfway around the world. It’s exciting.
Sounds like fun, Nancy! Have a wonderful time. The internet does shrink the world big time…and enables us to connect with so many people we would never have known otherwise.
Thanks, Vivian! I agree . . . it’s a bit like having pen pals all around the globe.
It is going to be deelightful today! Have fun..
Seasons 52 looks great. I am anticipating the post about this meet up!
If we enjoy ourselves as much as when we met you and CH, it will be a blast!
I’ve enjoyed all 3 blog meet ups so far ~ Jeanne & Dean, you and CH, and Renee (and her 2 co-authors ~ Jean and Joyce). This blogging stuff really expands our horizons, eh?
[...] with a sharp eye will have noticed Nancy from Spirit Lights The Way and I had scheduled a lunch date! It isn’t often that members of the blogosphere from [...]
Wonderful to meet you, Robyn!
I will post some food shots tomorrow . . . too tired to do a post by the time we got home tonight.
Have a deep sleep tonight and enjoy your conference!
